Piano Concerto
I composed this work for Deborah Jamini, and conducted the premiere with her as the piano soloist on a concert of my music I produced at Christ & St. Stephen’s Church on West 69th Street in New York City, 21 February 1985. The orchestra was contracted by me and made up of current and former students from Mannes, Juilliard, and the Manhattan School of Music.
The first movement has been performed separately as a concertante entitled Overture.
